An undeniable fact is that social services are available to women with children. Equally important to the health and welfare of children is that fathers remain active with their children. Yet, few services are available to fathers who desire to remain involved with their children. Dads Keeping It Real, Inc. seeks to fill the gap by offering a safe and healthy environment for fathers to come and interact with their children.
No man should be defined by his ability to provide diapers for his baby or food for his family.
A father without social and financial resources can not function by today’s’ definition of being a good father. He is shunned as a father when he is financially unstable and can not provide for his children. “A dead beat Dad” or “That’s just my baby’s Daddy” are derogatory terms directed at struggling fathers.
While a woman with a child qualifies for many social services few are focused or designed for men. Dads Keeping It Real, Inc. will provide services for men in a safe and child friendly environment.
